My Intramurals Experience

Do you guys like sports? Have you ever thought about at least trying to play a game or anything to see if your good at it? Intramurals might be the option of your choice. Intramurals is a really really good event to where you compete against other teams.  The sports in this event depends on the school but Basketball, Volleyball. and Badminton is always in it no matter what. So, this is how my intramurals went. We were given a week for preliminaries which also mean eliminations. In our school intramurals is for finals. During then we were just in waiting because we defeated 2 teams in a streak. This is all on the first day of intramurals. We waited till the afternoon to play and we went against green team fighting for championship. It was really fun but really challenging because it was a tough fight. The green was the toughest team we fought with in intramurals. We won in the end and became champion for volleyball girls. I was so out of focus during the game against the green...

My Family Day Experience

Have you ever thought about bonding with your family and friends at the same time? You are probably thinking it might be fun. Family day is a really good time to bond with both friends and family, in school. This event is really fun for both parents and children because of the games they hold and the dancing for the children after the whole program. This is how my family day went. On the day of the event, my team had to go early for practice because of a dance competition against 3 teams. We were really pressured by the time but we still kept on practicing and practicing because we wanted our teams to win. On 2 PM in the afternoon we were called to go upstairs to get ready for our dance and put on our outfit and many more things for the dance. We also rehearsed a lot. After preparing we went back downstairs for the program. During then they already held the singing competition and it was really fun to sing with them. After the singing comes the games. I might not be in the games b...

Museum Blog

I have learned a lot in the museum that us students prepared for everyone to visit. I, myself never knew that things like that still exists. It was fun to help people go to which table they'll go and tell them to not touch the things. I really had fun helping. There are 5 antiques that struck me the most out of all the antiques displayed.  First antique is the Telephone. This antique struck me a lot because I never old telephones looked like that back in the 1960s. I was really surprised on how the telephones used to be back in the days and was really amazed at the design. Our telephones in the present changed so much as time goes on. I just really like how the design is so good.  Second antique is the Flat Iron. I really didn't know that you had to put charcoals and light it up in order to iron your clothes back in the day. I thought it was just a normal iron where you just use electricity and it just heats up itself. I was really surprised with this antique and it's my pe...

Summarized, Mystique of Campo

Today's story is "Mystique of Campo: Timo, Guardian of the Putat" written by Jeanille Cogtas. Now, this story starts with a farmer accidentally hitting the Putat but is very lucky that the tee isn't damaged. Continues with the encanto getting mad and wants to take his beautiful daughter as an exchange for the damage. The farmer didn't want his daughter to get taken away because he dears her very much. He became an encanto as an exchange for his daughter and so on. The local color used in this story are dialect, social customs, mannerism, and object. "Tabi! tabi! I'm so sorry, I do not intend to harm your adobe". This phrase is counted as dialect because "tabi! tabi!" is a tagalog word for "excuse me". Dialect is the use of certain words in the dialect of the origin of the narrative adds areability and authencity to the roots of the  characters on the setting itself. "I'm so sorry" is part of a social custom because...

Seven Sundays

Seven Sundays PANIMULA O INTRODUKSIYON The title of the "Seven Sundays" came from the lolo spending his "last" Sundays with his children. Ang kanyang doctor sabi niya the night on his birthday that he was diagnosed with lung cancer and said that he has only 2 months to live, but as we go on with the movie the doctor seemed to be wrong with the diagnosis. He actually only had TB which can be cured easily. The lolo didn't wanna tell his children dahil if he did he knew that they would be like normal and forget about him. All he wanted ever since ang iyang asawa ay namamatay his family was broken and they basically weren't  a family. But when they heard about the cancer thing, they were worried and wanted to spend as much time as they could with their dad. Even with all the misunderstanding nagiging masaya sila. Cathy Garcia Molina ay ang director sa movie. She is known to be the best in directing romantic comedy and family drama films produced and  distribute...
