Seven Sundays

 Seven Sundays

PANIMULA O INTRODUKSIYON
The title of the "Seven Sundays" came from the lolo spending his "last" Sundays with his children. Ang kanyang doctor sabi niya the night on his birthday that he was diagnosed with lung cancer and said that he has only 2 months to live, but as we go on with the movie the doctor seemed to be wrong with the diagnosis. He actually only had TB which can be cured easily. The lolo didn't wanna tell his children dahil if he did he knew that they would be like normal and forget about him. All he wanted ever since ang iyang asawa ay namamatay his family was broken and they basically weren't  a family. But when they heard about the cancer thing, they were worried and wanted to spend as much time as they could with their dad. Even with all the misunderstanding nagiging masaya sila. Cathy Garcia Molina ay ang director sa movie.
She is known to be the best in directing romantic comedy and family drama films produced and  distributed by Star Cinema. I am not really sure where it happened but they filmed it in a place here in the Philippines. It was released on October 11,2017. The theme of the movie is strained pamilya relasyon, terminal illness, impending patay, at imminent loss.

BUOD
The movie is all about ang pamilya ay nagmake up dahil sa ilang mga misnderstanding and them leaving and forgetting about their family. The lolo was happy with the news of him getting cancer but his children wasn't. He wanted to reunite with his deceased asawa. He's children needed him but he didn't see that and just wanted to give up with his life. He was happy with all of his children getting along and spending time with him every Sunday. He got a call from his doctor that the doctor was wrong about the diagnosis and he only had TB which can be cured easily. Pero dahil all of his children are getting along happily he didn't wanna tell them the truth and just kept with the lung cancer thing. his children eventually opened up to everyone during a huge fight but made up and is now living happily.

PAGSUSURI
I was crying while watching this movie. It was too wholesome for me to handle. I was really inspired by how honest they are at ended up making up. They were very forgiving which touched my heart and I realized that losing someone we love can hurt a whole pamilya. We should treat everyone equally and shouldn't compare each other to anyone dahil it can only cause to break the relationship. Ang what made me iyak the most was at the end where they apologized for lying to each other and decided to become better than who they were before. We should take this as an opportunity to be better and mend all the misunderstanding we have with our family.

KONKLUSIYON
I recommend watching One More Chance, it is a really good filipino drama. The movie is about female lead and male lead wanting to fix their mistakes with their relasyon. The movie ends with a happy ending. It was released on 2007 directed by Cathy Garcia Molina. It's a really good movie and the most famous line in that movie is "How I wish I could turn back time, so I can fix all my mistakes." I just love how inspiring this movie is. If you want a romance drama movie with a happy ending this is the movie you should go with.

Reflective essay

The story of “My Brother’s Peculiar Chicken” has a Filipino traditional sport called “sabong/cockfighting”. Watching the video regards to it, triggered my curiosity whether or not they found the answer they were looking for. The story displayed the action of a chicken and another chicken fighting, wherein the chicken is playing a traditional Filipino sport. This essay will be talking about the story, “My Brother’s Peculiar Chicken”, the filipino traditional sport called “sabong/cockfighting” and will include some of my opinions. A scene from the story talked about how they saw 2 chickens fighting in the fields and ended up catching the other chicken they wanted. The main character and the brother saw 2 chickens in the field fighting and thought that the other chicken was good at it, so the brother ended up catching it. This displays the chickens playing a traditional Filipino sport, “Sabong/Cockfighting”.  Although I think that we should increase the number of chickens inste...

Museum Blog

I have learned a lot in the museum that us students prepared for everyone to visit. I, myself never knew that things like that still exists. It was fun to help people go to which table they'll go and tell them to not touch the things. I really had fun helping. There are 5 antiques that struck me the most out of all the antiques displayed.  First antique is the Telephone. This antique struck me a lot because I never old telephones looked like that back in the 1960s. I was really surprised on how the telephones used to be back in the days and was really amazed at the design. Our telephones in the present changed so much as time goes on. I just really like how the design is so good.  Second antique is the Flat Iron. I really didn't know that you had to put charcoals and light it up in order to iron your clothes back in the day. I thought it was just a normal iron where you just use electricity and it just heats up itself. I was really surprised with this antique and it's my pe...
