The Ghost That Roams At Night

The Ghost That Roams At Night
by: Kheilsy Heber

Countless of tales have been told about the ghost that roams at night. These tales were told in 2016s, located at Talisay, Mohon. There were lots and lots of beautiful and cheerful people in the area, the kids always played outside with the other kids in the neighborhood though they were forbidden to play at night. Emmanuel, one of the victims of the ghost, was new in the neighborhood. Daisy, his friend, didn't know about the tale. “Let’s go play tag, I'm so bored” Emmanuel said. “Lets go, i'm bored too” Daisy said and so she asked her siblings if they wanted to join. “Yes! Let's go play” said Daisy’s siblings. They told their mom that they are going to play outside for a while, “Mom, can I play outside with Daisy and the others?” Emmanuel asked his mom, “Yes you can play with them just be sure to come back before 8” the mom said. As soon as they got out of the house, Daisy was wondering why there weren’t that many people outside but she left it be and started the game called “Tag”. Daisy was the “it” and was chasing Emmanuel, she ran out of breath, so she slowed down laughing, but Emmanuel didn't because he thought that Daisy was still chasing him, “Slow down! Slow down! We need to go back inside its almost 8!” Daisy said while she was trying to catch a breath. Emmanuel didn't listen and still kept running, Daisy saw the ghost in front of him, “Emannuel stop!! You got to stop!!!” Daisy yelled at him, but he still kept on going. He eventually bumped into the ghost, the air started to feel cold, the ghost took him and gave him a punishment by giving him a scar to remind him that it's the ghost’s property. Daisy took him while he was crying and came home at 7:45 in the evening, The other siblings went in first. His mom saw them with a frown in her face “What happened!?” asked her mom, Daisy explained and told her about what happened as soon as she knew what happened she then forbade the kids to go out to play at night and made a tale about it, spreading all over the city.

Reflective essay

The story of “My Brother’s Peculiar Chicken” has a Filipino traditional sport called “sabong/cockfighting”. Watching the video regards to it, triggered my curiosity whether or not they found the answer they were looking for. The story displayed the action of a chicken and another chicken fighting, wherein the chicken is playing a traditional Filipino sport. This essay will be talking about the story, “My Brother’s Peculiar Chicken”, the filipino traditional sport called “sabong/cockfighting” and will include some of my opinions. A scene from the story talked about how they saw 2 chickens fighting in the fields and ended up catching the other chicken they wanted. The main character and the brother saw 2 chickens in the field fighting and thought that the other chicken was good at it, so the brother ended up catching it. This displays the chickens playing a traditional Filipino sport, “Sabong/Cockfighting”.  Although I think that we should increase the number of chickens inste...

Museum Blog

I have learned a lot in the museum that us students prepared for everyone to visit. I, myself never knew that things like that still exists. It was fun to help people go to which table they'll go and tell them to not touch the things. I really had fun helping. There are 5 antiques that struck me the most out of all the antiques displayed.  First antique is the Telephone. This antique struck me a lot because I never old telephones looked like that back in the 1960s. I was really surprised on how the telephones used to be back in the days and was really amazed at the design. Our telephones in the present changed so much as time goes on. I just really like how the design is so good.  Second antique is the Flat Iron. I really didn't know that you had to put charcoals and light it up in order to iron your clothes back in the day. I thought it was just a normal iron where you just use electricity and it just heats up itself. I was really surprised with this antique and it's my pe...
